Nicole: How did you get started with Kai Turban and where did the idea come from?
Virginie: I made the 1^st Kai a year and half ago! I was looking for the perfect turban that wouldn't not slide off every 2 minutes: I made it! Also, the spandex used is a very soft fabric, it enables you keep it on all day without being bothered

N: What is your design process? Do you sketch out your designs or what other method do you use?
V:For this particular product, it is more a research of fabrics, trends and adapting to the season.

N: Where does your inspiration come from?
V: It is based on the Kadpom from Indeonesia ( turban used for the religious ceremony) with a modern touch of course.

N:What designers inspire you, if any? And why. 
V:Louboutin for his mix of colors ( always with a red touch: my favorite color)

N:Any celebrities seen wearing your pieces? If so, who?
V: Rihanna, and many others….

N:Any accomplishments with Kai Turban that are worth mentioning? 
V: Not Yet, but I want the LKai to be on the Head of every women from 7 to 77 years old or more…

N:What can we expect in 2013 for Kai Turban? 
V:Many more prints and little details added
